After cutting his teeth in 3 rallies in 2016, young Welsh driver, Ioan Lloyd is returning to the Junior 1000 Rally championship in his trusty Micra for his first full season. The West Wales Rally Spares backed driver showed his natural driving skills last season as he made the step up from karting to rallying cars.
“I am hoping to achieve a podium finish in a junior rally and show good pace and consistency throughout the year, I also want to gain more experience with the Micra as I will stick with the Micra this year. I enjoy the competition in the junior f1000 club as it is very close”.
As well as the overall Junior championship, Ioan will also have his eyes set on the newly created “Rookie Cup” this season.
The first round of the 2017 season is on 19th March in Anglesey for the Lee Holland Memorial Stages.
