Following on from his rookie season in 2016 , Dan Curwen has confirmed his intentions for the 2017 Junior Rally Championship.  After switching from MiniStox to rallying in a Micra, Dan upgraded to a newer Peugeot 107 mid way through 2016 and now that car has undergone a total strip down and rebuild.
Curwen said “The car has been completely overhauled over winter, we’ve put a new engine, gear box and other Harry Hockley components. We’ve also had the suspension sent away and refreshed. I’m lucking forward for next weekend although we’ve not been testing so we might struggle early on but we will hope to progress and put in some good stage times towards the end of the day“.
“Unfortunately, due to my exams I’ll be missing Melbourne and Weeton but will be rejoining the championship at Solway in August. This year I’m going to concentrate on improving my driving and not going for the championship, but I would like to get some great individual results”.
Dan gets back behind the wheel on Sunday 19th March for Round 1 of the Junior Rally Championship at the Lee Holland Memorial Rally at Anglesey.
